White Card Online Refund Policy: No refund will be applicable where you have enrolled and commenced the online course learning. If you are unable to complete the course due to technical issues with this trainmeonline portal, Master Builders Association of WA will provide a full refund.
Individuals must hold a construction induction white card to undertake construction work at a workplace under the Work Health and Safety Act 2020 and Work Health and Safety Regulations (General) 2022.
Please Note: Western Australian Construction Induction Training cards can only be issued to persons located in Western Australia at the time of the assessment for the CPCWHS1001 Prepare to work safely in the construction industry.
On successful completion of all the learning and assessment requirements, you will receive a White Card and Statement of Attainment for the unit of competency.

Learning and Assessment Requirements
- online learning, knowledge questions and final assessment
- verbal assessment and completion of a basic hazard identification form
- practical demonstration
You will have 3 months to complete both the online course and face to face practical assessment, otherwise your enrolment will expire. No refund is applicable where your enrolment has expired and you will need to complete a new enrolment and pay the course fee to commence the online course.
When you have successfully completed all the knowledge activities and final assessment for this course online, you will then be required to complete the face to face practical assessment, which includes the verbal assessment. Practical Assessments are conducted via Zoom or in person at our West Perth office.

You must ensure you have current photo ID confirming a WA address and due to the hygiene requirements associated with COVID/FLU, you are required to provide your own Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to demonstrate the proper use of PPE in the practical assessment. This must be in good working order and includes hard hat, eye protection, hearing protection – ear plugs or ear muffs, and high visibility vest, shirt or jacket. Please note if the photo ID evidence is not produced on the day, your practical assessment will not take place until this evidence is provided. This also applies to the PPE.
You will be required to have sound English language, literacy and numeracy skills in order to complete the course and assessments, which includes responding to questions in English, reading and interpreting signs and procedures and completing a basic form. Please contact our training team prior to enrolment if you are unsure whether you have the minimum LLN requirements.
You will need basic internet connection and browser software such as Internet Explorer to be able to access this course online.
You will also make a declaration that you are located in Western Australia and have completed the training without any assistance. Random questions taken from the online component will be asked by the assessor during the practical assessment to verify.
